Investigation of Tendon Sheathing Filler Migration into Concrete

During some of the inspections performed at nuclear power plants with prestressed concrete containments, it was observed that the containments had experienced leakage of the tendon sheathing filler (i.e., streaks). The objective of this research activity was to provide an indication of the extent of tendon sheathing filler leakage into the concrete of a prestressed concrete containment structural capacity could be affected.
