This standard establishes essential elements for the quality assurance inspection and testing of HEPA filters by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE)-accepted Filter Test Facilities (FTF). The standard species HEPA filter quality assurance inspection and testing practices established in DOE-STD-3022-98, 'DOE HEPA Filter Test Program', and provides a basis for the preparation of written operating procedures for primary FTF functions.
