Dependence of HBT source parameters on beam energy and reaction plane at AGS

Two-particle correlations between pions in Au+Au collisions have been measured at211u001ebeam kinetic energies of 6, 8, and 10.6 GeV/u at the Alternating Gradient 211u001eSynchrotron (AGS) over a wide range of rapidities using a magnetic spectrometer. 211u001eThe data have been analyzed in the Hanbury-Brown and Twiss (HBT) framework to 211u001eextract source parameters as functions of the reaction plane as well as beam 211u001eenergy.
