The principal motivation for this work is to develop a kinetic model to describe211u001ea coupled fissioning core and a fissioning reflector. Most work performed in the 211u001earea of point kinetics has been centered around a fissioning core and a non-211u001efissioning reflector.1 This reactor consists of a coupled fissioning core-211u001ereflector system. We use the term couple to mean that some of the fission neutron 211u001eemitted in one reactor (core) will induce fission neutrons in the other reactor 211u001e(reflector). Thus, a fission neutron source is associated with each individual 211u001erector. This implies that the total source is the sum of individual reactor 211u001esources.
