Final project report: Cellular and molecular mechanisms in radiation211 carcinogenesis

The study was designed to compare cellular and molecular events in the211u001ecarcinogenic process after exposure to neutrons with those observed after gamma 211u001eradiation. To accomplish this goal, mouse mammary epithelial cells which were 211u001etransformed by either neutrons or gamma rays and isolated using methods developed 211u001ein this laboratory were studied early after transformation (early preneoplastic) 211u001eor during progression toward the neoplastic phenotype.
