Final project report: Cellular and molecular mechanisms in radiation carcinogenesis

摘要

The study was designed to compare cellular and molecular events in the carcinogenic process after exposure to neutrons with those observed after gamma radiation. To accomplish this goal, mouse mammary epithelial cells which were transformed by either neutrons or gamma rays and isolated using methods developed in this laboratory were studied early after transformation (early preneoplastic) or during progression toward the neoplastic phenotype.
