Polar, Functional Diene-Based Materials: Free Radical Polymerization of 2-Cyanomethyl-1,3-Butadiene

摘要

The synthesis and utilization of fictionalized polymeric materials have arousedcontinuing research interests as a result of their unique features. First, functionalized polymers provide the possibility of introducing the properties of various fictional groups to high molecular weight materials. Furthermore, the chemical dissimilarity between the functional groups and the backbone, such as polar/nonpolar, hydrophilic/hydrophobic, etc, could lead to very unique properties, such as phase separation and association. Using fictionalized polymers to form self-assemblies has become a new interesting research topic in recent years.
