摘要

An X-band RF transverse deflector composed of two 1-mlongX-band deflecting structures has been recently commissionedat the Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS) at SLACNational Accelerator Laboratory. Located downstream ofthe FEL undulator, this device provides electron beam longitudinalphase space diagnostics in both time and energywhich enables reconstruction of the X-ray FEL power profileswith an unprecedented resolution. This talk reports onthe progress of this new LCLS X-band transverse deflector,first usage experience and measured results.
