Lattices. Subgroup Summary Report

摘要

Since the overall machine layout was one of the most important subjects of discussion for the Workshop, the 'Lattices' Subgroup addressed a number of selected topics (according to the list in the Charge to the Machine) from a general point of view, rather than entering into the details of a particular design. The experience of CEBAF participants was of great help in suggesting solutions for the machine layout and in discussing the intrinsic difficulties of the project. The conclusions on the main topics considered by the Subgroup are described.
