Potential for the Precipitation of Uranium and Plutonium Solids upon Addition of Nitric Acid to Waste Solutions in a Caustic-Side Solvent Extraction Process

Based on the data from those studies, the author led development of predictive solubility models. This report used these models to calculate uranium and plutonium solubility versus solution compositions before and after mixing waste solution with scrub acid.
