摘要

The purpose of this effort was to investigate methods for improving the predictability, and ultimately the controllability, of the emissions generated by coal-fired boilers such as those used in power generation. These methods included both instrumentation to better measure parameters (such as instantaneous coal flow) affecting the emissions, and techniques to predict emissions from the parameter measurements generated by new and existing instrumentation.
