Iraq Oil Ministry Needs Assessment Workshop

Representatives from the U.S. Department of Energy, the National Nuclear Security Administration, and Sandia National Laboratories met with mid-level representatives from Iraqs oil and gas companies and with former employees and senior managers of Iraqs Ministry of Oil September 3 - 5 in Amman, Jordan. The goals of the workshop were to assess the needs of the Iraqi Oil Ministry and industry, to provide information about capabilities at DOE and the national laboratories relevant to Iraq, and to develop ideas for potential projects.
