Counter-current batch extraction techniques that ver© successful in the reparation of many similar organic compounds have proven useful in the study of inorganic compounds. Some slight varlations in the distribution curves found for uranium say have been due to analytical difficulties or nay have been real. This should be checked further.nDichromate was extracted in only assail amounts and apparently reacted with the hexane since nose vas found in any of the organic phases but a esoall amount (5.5％) was found in the aqueous of number 7 tube.
