1.tThe densities at 25℃. Of tributyl phosphate – carbon tetrachloride solutions containing uranium and nitric acid are presented.n2.tlinear equations have been derived which correlate these densities, within the limits of experimental error, as functions of uranium concentration and solvent composition.n3.tNitric acid was found to have no significant effect on the densities of 10-25℃ TBP- CCL4 solutions.n4.tThe density of TBP – CCL4 mixtures containing no uranium or nitric acid was a linear function of the volume per cent composition, indicating ideal solution behavior.n5.tThe differences between the densities, △ρ , of equilibrated aqueous and organic phases are tabulated for 20℃ TBP – CCl4 as a function of UKH and RNO3 concentrations.
