摘要

A promising approach to the problem of precipitating hexavalent uranium from sulphuric acid solutions has been discovered in the use of organic compounds of phosphorus. In a series of tests involving the screening of aryl phosphoric and aryl phosphoric acids, it has been shown that bis-benzenephosphinic acid, (C6H5)2PO2H, is remarkably effective in precipitating urinal ion from dilute solutions. Precipitation tests in sulphuric acid solutions at a pH range of 0 to 3 gave almost quantitative removal of uranium from solution. It was further demonstrated that relatively high concentrations of ferrous and aluminum ions did.
