This report covers the progress of research activities for the last of four periods of this contract, extending from February 1 to May 31, 1951. This report also constitutes a final report, summary, and final data evaluation of the experimental results obtained during the entire investigation carried on under this contract. The work concerned itself with the production and determination of some physical and chemical properties of cemented zirconium carbide bodies with metallic binders, such as iron and nickel and some of their alloys, by several powder metallurgical processes.
