A LABORATORY COURSE IN REACTOR PHYSICS PRESENTED IN THE 1951-1952 SESSION OF THE OAK RIDGE SCHOOL OF REACTOR TECHNOLOGY

The experiments described in the following instruction sheets are performed in the Reactor Physics laboratory course of the Oak Ridge School of Reactor Technology. The laboratory course is taught concurrently with lecture courses in Nuclear Physics and other subjects, which are designed to present the fundamental physical principles upon which the laboratory experiments are based. One experiment per week is performed during a three-hour laboratory period. Each week a one-hour discussion is held concerning the details of the performance of the experiment for that week.
