摘要

The effects of ultraviolet irradiation on K12, K12-il, and K12-12, are cytologically indisting fishable and can be divided into two phases. The initial effects are like these found also in non-Lysogenic cells. The latter phase, involving fine granulation of chromatin, increase in chrommtin, and cell lysis, are found also in cells lytically infected with exogamous lambda+, Lmbda a or lambda v phages. In exogenous infection, the initial phases are greatly shortened or do not appear.
