Physical Properties of Boral Used in Lid Tank Mockups

In the analysis of Lid Tank data it is necessary to know the physical properties of boral which pertain to radiation shielding. The literature in¬dicates that the composition of boral has varied during its development and is not necessarily standardized. Consequently, samples from boral at the LTSF were analyzed and the results compared with analyses of boral fabricated by known processes.
