Pursuant to these studies on Re we obtained values for the maximum beta energies (see above), gamma energies, conversion coefficients, half-life, and branching ratios, particularly of the ca 0. 1% abundant 307-kev beta group (see Table IV).nWe discuss in detail-the criteria for evaluating the performance of a coincidence spectrometer,/particularly the coincidence efficiency as a function of beta energy, and present an analysis of some corrections to coincidence data usually not considered. The performance of the apparatus is exemplified by the spectrum of the main beta transition in Au198 (EQ = 960 keV) in coincidence with the 411-kev gammas.
