In-pile defilming of process tubes

摘要

To reduce manpower burn-out rates resulting from contamination on tools and equipment which are used to remove process tubes, a method for decontaminating, evaluated. The referenced document reported the results of a small scale test designed to remove film from inside the process tube prior to removal of the tube from the reactor. A more conclusive test was also outlined. The purpose of this document is to report the results of the larger scale test. (ERA citation 17:028277)
