The studies showed that this type of cell is capable of detect-ing changes in oxygen concentration of less than 0. 002 percent with a deviation of about 2 percent, and that such changes could be detected in less than a minute. Full-scale deflection of the instrument represents 25 microamperes of current or an oxygen equivalent of about 0. 015 percent. For monitoring higher oxygen concentrations, range multiplication factors of 2, 5, and 10 are provided, and with the proper load resistor across the terminals, the range of the cell can be extended to detect either a lower or a higher oxygen concentration.
