RECOVERY OF VANADIUM FROM COLORADO PLATEAU ORES BY SOLVENT EXTRACTION

摘要

The laboratory development of a process for the recovery of vanadium from sulfuric acid leaches of Colorado Pla¬teau ores by solvent extraction with alkyl phosphoric acids is presented. Bench-scale studies of the variables in¬volved in the extraction, stripping and product precipitation steps and continuous countercurrent extraction studies in a laboratory, multistage, mixer-settler unit are described.
