FTI-2 is an IBM-704 code which genera I i zes FTI-I to include sine inversions and several other improvements. Among the changes explained are alterations in spacing, interpolation, and strategy. Although FTI-2 is a big improvement over FTI-I in terms of accuracy and speed, there are still problems of slow convergence with respect to theφ series.
