The second quarterly period has been devoted to a continuation of the construction of the Megatron, a high flux density high current betatron (150 Mev 1000 A). The energy storage capacitor bank, the high voltage switches, and the high field coil have been described in the first quarterly report. Our progress can best be indicated by listing the major components and their state of development.
