ON VACUUM MAGNETIC FIELDS IN A TORUS WITH MULTIPOLAR WINDINGS

摘要

Magnetic fields, surfaces, and lines of force are obtained for a toroidal system on which multipolar fields are applied. The results are applied to the Model C stellarator in order to estimate the shift of the magnetic surfaces which one could expect.
