Since the publication of Parts 1 and 2 of this report(1) the theoretical aspect of separation efficiency has been presented(2)(3) and further developed(4). It therefore remains to present data on the performance of small diameter cyclones and where it is of value to do so this data will be compared with the theoretical conclusions. The cyclones used have been described in Part 1.
