The beta directional gamma circular polarization correlation of Au198 was measured using the backscattering of the circularly polarized gamma radiation from a radially magnetized iron dies.nThe analysis of the data shows that the ξ-approximation for first-forbidden non-unique bate transitions represents the Au198 results is a very satisfactory manner.
