Croloy 2-1/4 piping of various shapes and sizes was tested to determine the feasibility of 60-cycle induction heating.nVarious heating coil arrangements showed power factors of more than 50% and efficiencies of more than 80%. Therefore this method of heating is considered feasible and practical.
