Measurements on the fractional change in cross section, ∑(t)/ ∑0(where ∑(t) is the macroscopic cross section remaining after an irra-diation time, t, and 2 is the macroscopic cross section prior to neutron irradiation) have been made for samples of natural europium and dysprosium. The irradiation was made in MTR (1) facility by exposure to total flux-times ranging from 2.5 x 10 up to 1.2 x 10 neutrons/cm .nCobalt wires located near the capsules containing the samples were use to monitor the flux. The measurement of∑(t)/ ∑0 were performed innthe PPA using a pile oscillator (2) technique.
