HIGH FREQUENCY PROPERTIES OF A UNIFORM PLASMA PART Ⅱ. EFFECT OF A UNIFORM MAGNETIC FIELD

Part I of this study, which has been given in an earlier report AERE -R 2916, has dealt with high frequency motion in a plasma free of constant external fields. The present report, Part II, considers the effect of a uniform magnetic field on this motion. The work has been presented so as to be continuous with Part I, thus the first section is labelled §4 to denote that it follows on from S3 of Part I. In this way, references back to equations in Part I can be made without explanation.
