The amount of oxygen present in the sample is determined by measuring the change in conductance of the absorbing solution and comparing this change against that of a standard curve prepared by the analysis of known amounts of stoichiometric catalo oxides such as silver, uranium, niobium or zirconium oxides.nThis method covers the determination of oxygen in zirconium and Zircaloy. The range of the method is from 50 ppm (1 new sample) to 7000 ppm (0.1 go. sample).
