For the Reynolds number between 1.5*104 to 106. It is about the same as that of the 10:1 rectangular duct. For higher Reynolds number the friction factor for flow in circular pipe approaches that for flow between two parallel plates.nThe construction of the 5:1 duct is under way. This and the eventual 10:1 duct will use the same exit section and measuring devices as the 1:1 duct and will, therefore take less time to complete their construction.
