THE PREDICTION OF THE PERFORMANCE OF AN ELECTROSTATIC PRECIPITATION WIRE MACHINE USING FISSION PRODUCT DATA

摘要

A theoretical analysis of the behaviour of the electrostatic precipitation wire machine is presented. Curves based on the theoretical predictions and using currently available data on the fission products of uranium are included to enable estimates of the performance of particular fission product measurement systems to be made. Details of experimental checks on the validity of the theoretical analysis are given.
