摘要

One of the principal aims in particle acceleration is to obtain high intensity beams with a higher duty-cycle. Constant field machines are well suited for this task. Such machines require a wide band RF power system. The need of high p.t.t. prevents the use of any mechanical or ferrite-type tuning device. Therefore it appears necessary to examine exhaustively the problems of wide band adaptation of an RF power amplifier to a resonator.nThe present report refers to the project of the 100 MeV FFAG machine whose RF system consists of two reso¬nators producing an acceleration voltage with constant ampli¬tude equal to 1500 V peak between 20 and 30 Mc.
