This Guide has been prepared in order to assist those responsible for preparing and submitting Safety Reports for Stage I reactors in connection with the provision of the Nuclear Installations (Licensing and Insurance) Act of 1959.nThe Guide discusses the purpose of a Reactor Safety Report, stressing in particular the need for a consistent demonstration throughout, of the ways in which stated Safety Principles are implemented in the design, construction and operation of the reactor.
