This report describes a program which was written for the calculation of correction factors which can be used in the analysis of the results of neutron scattering experiments to compensate for the finite thickness of the targets.nIn order to pro¬duce a measurable amount of scattering, the target has to be fairly thick, and consequently a neutron may suffer more than one collision before it escapes. For low neutron energies (with which we are here concerned), neutrons are more likely to be absorbed than scattered (Γy>Γn), and hence an appreciable amount of the scattered neutrons may be absorbed before they can escape to the detector.
