This report is prepared with the object of presenting engineering information and data on the effects of radiation on many polymers of great importance and current use in the engineering field which may have applications in nuclear installations. The information is necessarily brief and is offered as a guide to the general behaviour of various plastics, elastomers, and resins when subjected to nuclear radiation. The information has been culled from a variety of sources, some of which were not written from an engineering viewpoint. No originality, except in the manner of presentation, is claimed by the author.
