摘要

The purpose of this investigation was to compare the radiographic and pulse-echo, shear-wave ultrasonic in¬spection data from a weldment in a Type 304L stainless steel plate 1/4-Inch thick. Metallographic specimens were obtained at points of agreement and disagreement between the two inspection methods in order to evaluate the test results.
