摘要

A measured volume of the milk is evaporated to dryness with calcium acetate and ignited. The residual ash is steam distilled from sulphuric acid. Fluoride in the distillate is determined absorptiometrically by measuring the bleaching effect of the fluoride ion on an aluminium hematoxylin complex.
