Radioisotopes, in ever-increasing quantity and versatility, are being applied by worldwide science and industry to the solution of research problems and the control of production processes. These applications are described in technical journals and publications in many languages.nThe Office of Isotopes Development, with its responsi¬bility for encouraging the widespread beneficial use of radioisotopes and radiation, is attempting to increase in¬dustrial awareness of the contents of foreign-language publications pertinent to isotope applications. It has under taken a limited review of the 1959 and 1960 foreign technical literature reporting current progress in the use of isotopes in the industry of individual countries. This bibliography is a preliminary result of this review and should be viewed as an interim information tool pending publication of a proposed comprehensive survey of worldwide industrial experience.
