CHEMICAL DETECTORS A BIBLIOGRAPHY FOR THE INDUSTRIAL HYGIENIST WITH ABSTRACTS AND ANNOTATIONS

A bibliography of chemical detectors which may apply to industrial hygiene has been compiled. More than fifteen hundred references are listed, including over two hundred substances. Chemical detectors such as impregnated granules and filter paper, color-changing chalks, and indicating solutions are arranged according to the compound they are intended to detect. The preparation of the detectors is given where possible, as well as their use, sensitivity, reproducibility, and stability. A section on commercially available chemical detectors is included.
