The research and development activities in the period indicated are for the physical sciences portion of the radiological sciences. The atmospheric studies include reports on atmospheric;diffusion and transport. The work in radiological physics includes reports on whole body counting, dosimetry, and the related equipment and instrumentation.nThe radiological chemistry section includes work in analytical and counting methods, environmental studies, reactor studies, and radiation chemistry. The chemical effluents technology includes reports on special geological studies, geochemical and geophysical research, effluents research and development, equipment and instrumentation, and process demonstrations and analysis. The instrumentation studies involve work in monitors, dosimetry, and special purpose instruments.
