SOME RECENTLY DEVELOPED CHEMICAL AND PHYSICALnANALYTICAL METHODS

This report contains a collection of some chemical and physical analyti¬cal methods recently developed by members of the analytical chemistry, vacuum analytical, and spectroscopy groups of this laboratory. The emphasis is on the analysis of beryllium oxide (by itself or in mixtures), but methods for the determination of compounds occurring in explosives, of boron isotope ratios, and of the density of solids will be found here as well. It is our hope that these procedures will be of use to our colleagues in other laboratories in the form given here. However, the individual authors will welcome inquiries on any specific point.
