Development of Field Emission Flash X-ray Tubes and Devices. Final Report Covering Period October 2, 1959 Through August 31, 1960.

摘要

Work was carried out on the extension of T-F emission flash x-ray tubes to high voltage (600 kv) and current (2000 amps). Good progress was made with conventional 300-kv embodiments scaled up for operation at the high voltage. The design, construction, test, and delivery of a 600-kv pulser was carried out. This pulser utilized a modified Marx-Surge circuit with lumped constant storage. Experimental studies were also carried out on Mev x-ray tubes. (M.C.G.)
