A NEW APPROACH TO CLEANROOM DESIGN

This is a report on an experimental cleanroom which eliminates the need for strict personnel control, special clothing, and special operational procedures. Tests to date have shown that cleanli¬ness levels have been achieved which are several orders of magnitude better than cleanrooms of conventional design. General design features, and the results of operational tests, are described.
