摘要

A spectrophotometry method using silver diethyldithio-carbamate (AgDDC) has been successfully applied for the determination of trace quantities of arsenic in aluminum alloys, aluminum, uranium, and lead. Sample prepara¬tion procedures were developed for each of the various matrices. The measurement of the arsenic content of the sample is the same, regardless of matrix. The minimum quantity of arsenic detectable for the aluminum alloys and aluminum has been established to be 0.5 microgram per gram of sample;for uranium and lead the lower detection limit was 0.3 microgram per gram of sample.
