As part of the study of U-alloy fuel at the Atomic Energy Research Institute, we took up the U-Mo alloy which is considered to be most promising. With a view to obtaining fundamental data, we conducted a metallurgical study for the production of U-Mo alloy first of all, and carried out the study of thermal processing characteristics, thermal cycle tests and also" anti-corrosion tests against oxidation at high temperature and hot water.
