摘要

The deposition from aqueous buffer systems of dissolved Co60, Cr51, Mn54, Fe59, Ru106-Rh106, and Zr95-Nb95 on stainless and mild steel surfaces was investigated at 25-60℃ for exposure times up to eight days. This work, a part of a decontamination studies program, shows that the direct deposition of dissolved radionuclides on steel surfaces is not the predominant mechanism by which low temperature coolant systems become contaminated.
