The object of this program was to prepare, analyze, and evaluate a series of inorganic coordination compounds to produce detonation pressures in the range of one to 90 kilo this report describes the work performed on isothiocyanatopentamminecobalt (III) perchnAn extensive literature survey provided the basis for a preparation procedure which y a product of high purity. The absolute density (1.906 gm/ml) and absorption spectra complex were experimentally determined, and microscopic measurements showed that the particle size diameter of the prepared complex is approximately 30 microns.
